Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Overview
This policy explains cancellations and refunds for our two services: The Summer Thinking Space (a one-off live package) and Held to Think (a monthly subscription, when available). Your statutory rights as a consumer always apply and are not affected by this policy.
2. Your statutory cancellation right
For purchases made online, you generally have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day of purchase to cancel for any reason. If you ask us to begin a service during that period, you may be charged for what has already been provided. Where a service has been fully delivered during the cooling-off period with your agreement, the cancellation right may no longer apply. We will tell you clearly at checkout where this is the case.
3. The Summer Thinking Space (live packages)
- Before sessions begin: cancel within the cooling-off period for a full refund.
- After sessions begin: we refund the value of sessions not yet delivered, less any work already prepared specifically for your child, unless your statutory rights provide otherwise.
- If we cannot deliver agreed sessions, we will reschedule or refund the affected sessions.
- Sessions are personal and limited; we ask for reasonable notice to rearrange a session.
4. Held to Think (subscription)
- You can cancel the monthly subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current paid month. You keep access until then.
- We do not, as a rule, refund part-months once a month has begun, except where your statutory rights apply or where we have not provided the service.
- If we withdraw the service, we will refund any period paid for but not provided.
- There are no cancellation fees.
5. How to cancel
Cancel from your account, or contact us at p.banerji@pollyana-academy.com. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method, normally within a reasonable period. Payments and refunds are handled through our payment provider.
7. Problems and complaints
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first and we will try to put it right. This does not affect your right to pursue a complaint or a statutory remedy.
